Surah Taha is a chapter in the Quran, and Ayat 1-5 narrate the story of Prophet Moses (Musa in Arabic) and the miraculous event of his calling. In these verses, Moses sees a fire on the side of Mount Sinai and approaches it. To his amazement, God speaks to him from within the fire, commissioning him as a prophet with a divine mission. God instructs Moses to remove his sandals as he is standing on sacred ground and reveals His presence and authority.
These verses teach us about the sacredness of moments when God communicates with His chosen messengers and the importance of humility and readiness when receiving a divine message. So, Ayat 1-5 of Surah Taha mark the beginning of Prophet Moses’ extraordinary journey as a messenger of God.
